Cookie Policy

The SmartLiving redesign uses WordPress and browser-based tools. This page describes the current implementation rather than a promise about services that have not been installed.

WordPress sessions

WordPress uses cookies for signed-in administrators and login functionality. Public article pages and calculators do not require a reader account. The calculators do not set cookies or save input amounts to browser storage.

Cloudflare performance measurement

The delivery service adds Cloudflare’s performance beacon. Cloudflare describes this beacon as operating without cookies or browser storage; this is separate from WordPress login cookies. See Cloudflare’s RUM privacy information.

Optional advertising

Advertising remains disabled. No optional advertising consent is assumed from continuing to browse. Before advertising is enabled, the publication must add the appropriate notice and choices for the actual integration.

Your browser controls

Your browser can show, block or clear stored website data. Blocking login cookies can prevent administrative sessions from working. External source websites have their own storage practices.
