Kittens can get into all sorts of trouble.
I am sure all of us have been in situations where we found a kitten wandering the road and we couldn’t find its mother. It can not only be worrying but also make you feel guilty if you leave the kitten alone. And I don’t know what is wrong with people but a lot of them will just drive by without a car in the world while a small animal suffers. I understand that not everyone wants a cat but what is the harm in calling a shelter or at least stopping and putting the tiny kitty somewhere safe?
Atleast that is what this good samaritan did. You see, this bus driver was just minding his own business when he saw a kitten on the road. All of the traffic was just driving by and he was afraid that the kitten would get hurt. So he stopped the traffic and got out to pick up the kitty. Now, he couldn’t keep the cat so he decided to put the cat in a grass clearing nearby. It might not have been the best solution but he was trying his hardest and that is all that matters.
All of this was being captured by the headcam of a bike driver nearby.
All of this happened in the Philippines in the city of Manila.
The bus driver stopped traffic to save the cat which really warms my heart.
But a bike rider nearby wasn’t going to leave the cat, so he stuffed him into his jacket and went on his way.
The bus driver tried his best to save the cat and the bike rider swooped in to make sure the kitty had a safe home.
You will be happy to know that the cat is safe and sound with a friend of his now.
He later gave the cat to one of his friends who adores cats and now he is living happily in a loving home. I am just glad that the kitty did not get hurt and also found a home.
You can see the whole interaction in the following short video.
We can even hear the little meows at the end of the video. And I am sure that while the kitty is a bit confused he is also just trying to thank the bike rider. This just reaffirms my faith in humanity.
After all that wholesomeness, we need one more thing, Cat tax!
This kitty sure does look like a tiger. I didn’t even know that cats could get this big and yet here we are. I just want to cuddle with this fluffy munchkin.
