I give myself
and consecrate to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ,
my person and my life,
my actions,
pains and sufferings,
so that I may be unwilling to make use
of any part of my being other than to honor,
love and glorify the Sacred Heart.
This is my unchanging purpose, namely,
to be all His,
and to do all things for the love of Him,
at the same time renouncing with all my heart
whatever is displeasing to Him.
I therefore take You,
O Sacred Heart,
to be the only object of my love,
the guardian of my life,
my assurance of salvation,
the remedy of my weakness and inconstancy,
the atonement for all the faults of my life
and my sure refuge at the hour of death.
Be then, O Heart of goodness,
my justification before God the Father,
and turn away from me the strokes of his righteous anger.
O Heart of love,
I put all my confidence in You,
for I fear everything from my own wickedness and frailty,
but I hope for all things from Your goodness and bounty.
Remove from me all that can displease You
or resist Your holy will;
let your pure love imprint Your image
so deeply upon my heart,
that I shall never be able to forget You
or to be separated from You.
May I obtain from all Your loving kindness
the grace of having my name written in Your Heart,
for in You I desire to place all my happiness and glory,
living and dying in bondage to You.

I see Your Heart on fire for love of me.
I want to be in this fiery furnace
and know the love of God.

and I ask the Holy Spirit
to make me more like You.
I want to be a little child of the Father.

keep me in Your Heart

ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS # 4
O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
to Thee I consecrate and offer up my person and my life,
my actions, trials, and sufferings,
that my entire being may henceforth only be employed in loving,
honouring and glorifying Thee.
This is my irrevocable will,
to belong entirely to Thee,
and to do all for Thy love,
renouncing with my whole heart all that can displease Thee.
I take Thee, O Sacred Heart,
for the sole object of my love,
the protection of my life,
the pledge of my salvation,
the remedy of my frailty and inconstancy,
the reparation for all the defects of my life,
and my secure refuge at the hour of my death.
Be Thou, O Most Merciful Heart,
my justification before God Thy Father,
and screen me from His anger
which I have so justly merited.
I fear all from my own weakness and malice,
but placing my entire confidence in Thee,
O Heart of Love,
I hope all from Thine infinite Goodness.
Annihilate in me all that can displease or resist Thee.
Imprint Thy pure love so deeply in my heart
that I may never forget Thee or be separated from Thee.
I beseech Thee, through Thine infinite Goodness,
grant that my name be engraved upon Thy Heart,
for in this I place all my happiness
and all my glory,
to live and to die as one of Thy devoted servants.

ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS # 5
Most loving Jesus,
I consecrate myself today anew
and without reserve to Thy divine4 Heart.
I consecrate to Thee my body with all its senses,
my soul with all its faculties,
and in short, my entire being.
I consecrate to Thee all my thoughts, words and deeds;
all my sufferings and labours;
all my hopes, consolations and joys;
and chiefly do I consecrate to Thee this poor heart of mine,
to the end that it may love nothing save only Thee,
and may be consumed as a victim in the fire of Thy love.
Accept, O Jesus,
thou dearest Spouse of my soul,
the desire which I have of consoling Thy divine heart,
and of belonging to thee for ever.
Take possession of me in such wise
that from this day forth I may have no other freedom,
save that of loving Thee,
and no other life,
save that of suffering and dying for Thee;
I put my trust in Thee without reserve,
and I hope for the remission of my sins
through Thine infinite bounty.
I place within Thy hands all my cares and anxieties,
especially as touching my eternal salvation.
I promise to love Thee and honour Thee
to the last moment of my life,
and to spread, as much as I can,
the worship of Thy most Sacred Heart.
Dispose of me, my Jesus,
according to Thy good pleasure;
I would have no other reward save Thy greater glory and Thy holy love.
Grant me grace to find my home in Thy divine Heart;
here would I pass every day of my life;
here would I breathe forth my last breath;
only do Thou establish in my heart Thy dwelling place,
the seat of Thy rest,
in order that we may thus remain inseparably united;
and so may I one day be able to praise Thee,
love Thee and possess Thee for ever in the kingdom of heaven,
where I shall sing without end
the infinite mercies of Thy Sacred Heart.

My loving Jesus,
out of the grateful love I bear Thee,
and to make reparation for my unfaithfulness to grace,
I give Thee my heart,
and I consecrate myself wholly to Thee;
and with Thy help I purpose to sin no more.

O MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS,
THOU DIDST REVEAL TO THE BLESSED MARGARET MARY
THY DESIRE TO RULE OVER CHRISTIAN FAMILIES;
BEHOLD, IN ORDER TO PLEASE THEE,
WE STAND BEFORE THEE THIS DAY,
TO PROCLAIM THY FULL SOVEREIGNTY OVER OUR FAMILY.
WE DESIRE HENCEFORTH TO LIVE THY LIFE,
WE DESIRE THAT THE VIRTUES,
TO WHICH THOU HAST PROMISED PEACE ON EARTH,
MAY FLOWER IN THE BOSOM OF OUR FAMILY;
WE DESIRE TO KEEP FAR FROM US THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD,
WHICH THOU HAST CONDEMNED.
THOU ART KING OF OUR MINDS BY THE SIMPLICITY OF OUR FAITH;

TO PRESIDE OVER OUR GATHERING TOGETHER,
TO BLESS OUR SPIRITUAL AND TEMPORAL AFFAIRS,
TO WARD OFF ALL ANNOYANCE FROM US,
TO HALLOW OUR JOYS AND COMFORT OUR SORROWS.
IF ANY OF US HAS EVER BEEN SO UNHAPPY
AS TO FALL INTO THE MISERY OF DISPLEASING THEE,
GRANT THAT HE MAY REMEMBER, O HEART OF JESUS,
THAT THOU ART FULL OF GOODNESS AND MERCY
TOWARD THE REPENTANT SINNER.
AND WHEN THE HOUR OF SEPARATION STRIKES
AND DEATH ENTERS OUR FAMILY CIRCLE,
WHETHER WE GO OR WHETHER WE STAY,
WE SHALL ALL BOW HUMBLY BEFORE THINE ETERNAL DECREES.
THIS SHALL BE OUR CONSOLATION,
TO REMEMBER THAT THE DAY WILL COME,
WHEN OUR ENTIRE FAMILY,
ONCE MORE UNITED IN HEAVEN,
SHALL BE ABLE TO SING OF THY GLORY
AND THY GOODNESS FOREVER.
MAY THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
AND THE GLORIOUS PATRIARCH ST. JOSEPH
VOUCHSAFE TO OFFER THEE THIS OUR ACT OF CONSECRATION,
AND TO KEEP THE MEMORY THEREOF ALIVE IN US ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

A SHORT CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
Sacred Heart of Jesus,
filled with infinite love,
broken by my ingratitude,
pierced by my sins,
yet loving me still,
accept the consecration that I make to You,
of all that I am and all that I have.
Take every faculty of my soul and body,
and draw me, day by day,
nearer and nearer to Your Sacred Side,
and there, as I can bear the lesson,
teach me Your blessed ways.

CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
Adorable Heart of Jesus,
the tenderest, the most amiable,
the most generous of all hearts,
penetrated with gratitude at the sight of Thy benefits,
I come to consecrate myself wholly and unreservedly to Thee!
I wish to devote all my energies
to propagating Thy worship and winning,
if possible, all hearts to Thee.
Receive my heart this day, O Jesus!
Or rather take it, change it, purify it,
to render it worthy of Thee;
Make it humble, gentle, patient,

by inflaming it with the fire of Thy love.
Hide it in Thy Divine Heart
with all hearts that love Thee
and are consecrated to Thee;
never permit me to take my heart from Thee again.

that the desire of my heart is to love Thee always,

THE RENEWAL OF THE CONSECRATION OF THE FAMILY TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
Most sweet Jesus,
humbly kneeling at Thy feet,
we renew the consecration of our family to Thy Divine Heart.
Be Thou our King forever.
In Thee we have full and entire confidence.
May Thy spirit penetrate our thoughts,
our desires, our words and our works.
Bless our undertakings,
share in our joys,
in our trials and in our labours.
Grant us to know Thee more,
to serve Thee without faltering.
By the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Queen of Peace, set up Thy kingdom in our country.
Enter closely into the midst of our families
and make them Thine own
through the solemn enthronement of Thy Sacred Heart
so that no one cry may respond from home to home.
May the triumphant Heart of Jesus be everywhere loved,
blessed and glorified forever!
